Carttronics' patented Smart Corral® is a revolutionary new RFID-based system that seamlessly provides loyalty credits to customers who return their carts to the Smart Corral upon completion of their shopping trip. The result is a dramatic reduction in man-hours devoted to cart collection on-site, reductions in workers' comp and liability claims associated with collection, reduced cart vs. auto events in the lot, and an overall improvement in cart condition and your customers' experience.
The Smart Corral system incorporates an inexpensive RFID tag on each cart, coupled with RFID readers at designated corrals, and one or more Smart Corral kiosks. When the customer finishes his/her shopping trip, he or she simply returns the cart to the Smart Corral where it is automatically electronically recognized. The Smart Corral is simultaneously enabled to allow the shopper to swipe his loyalty card or input his phone number to automatically receive loyalty credits in his or her personal account.
